Let's Face Facts

Conservatives are always going on about how there are absolute standards of right and wrong, rules that must never be broken, universal truths, eternal verities, &c.

Well, of course they're right.

But what they don't seem to understand is that the universal, eternal, absolute standards aren't theirs.

They're ours.

Crispen has a very insightful post at his excellent blog illustrating this simple truth. If only conservatives were able to get the point of what I have just been saying.
